Ferdinand Schlatt

Researcher and PhD candidate

Ferdinand Schlatt received his Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrück and his Master's degree in Intelligent Systems from the University of Bielefeld. He started his PhD in January 2021 at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and joined the Friedrich Schiller University Jena in April 2023. His research focuses on information retrieval for causal and health-related questions, as well as efficient retrieval and ranking with pre-trained language models.
