Nonlinear characterizations of stochastic completeness

We provide an introduction to the concept of stochastic completeness, including some known characterizations involving linear operators. The goal of the talk is to discuss nonlinear variants of two of these characterizations. The first concerns a Liouville type property. The second involves a nonlinear resolvent.
The talk is based on joint work with Marcel Schmidt.
